Brian Pierce, MPAS, PA-CBrian was raised in rural, ranching towns around Montana and Wyoming until he enlisted in the US Army. He spent many years ranching and farming, while working for the Montana Office of Tourism Electronic Marketing Department. His wife and he met, and he moved to Alaska, in 2012, where she was living at the time. During this time, he worked at Cabelas and pursued his joy of hunting, fishing, hiking, and shooting sports around Alaska. After spending over 10 years in Alaska, they decided to try something different and moved to Ocala, Florida.
Brian's medical career began while working with Tri-Lakes Fire Rescue in Montana. He began as a Montana EMT-F or First Responder and soon found a love for the medical field that he didn't realize he possessed. He began training to higher levels; soon becoming the highest trained medical staff on the fire department. While working with Tri-Lakes, he began working on the local, hospital-based 911 response ambulance and in the hospital’s emergency department. While working in the ER, he found that he wanted to be able to do more and set his eyes on increasing his knowledge. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Anchorage campus, MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant training program in 2017. Directly after, he began working on his Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, graduating in 2019. He has been working in urgent care, primary/family practice, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and occupational medicine since he began practicing. |
